Great Pyrenees In The Orchard<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Great Pyrenees breed is typically nocturnal and aggressive when it comes to protecting livestock against predators. They are trustworthy when it comes to small, young, and helpless animals because of their natural guardian instinct. The typical Great Pyrenees male will weigh anywhere between 110-130 lb. and will grow to about 27-32 in. The Female can reach 90-115 lb. and can grow to be 26-31 in. Their average lifespan is roughly 10 to 11 years. The great Pyrenees has a very confident, gentle, and affectionate temper while territorial and protective of its flock and family when necessary. This particular breed is strong-willed with that being said they can also be very patient and loyal when it comes to their master. The only downside to this breed is that they are slow to learn new commands, they also are slow to obey and most of the time stubborn to train it is also unusual for this breed to become aggressive or turn on its master. This particular breed of dog has been around for hundreds of years.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
